Shogo was a postdoc in Fargo from 1983-1984. He worked on projects such as the reaction of atoms (Si, C) with small molecules (water, ethane, ethylene). He sent a student, Hideyuki Hashizume, to spend a year in Ames in 2002, studying graphics.
